We completed the first phase of our storage reorganization. Parts are now grouped by permanent donor stock number instead of being stored only by general part category.
That change gives our staff a direct physical link between a component, its inspection record, and the vehicle it came from. It also reduces time spent confirming details when a customer asks about condition or fitment.
Why the stock number matters
Every donor vehicle receives a stock number as soon as it arrives, and that number is never reused. Photos, part records, inspection notes, and storage locations all reference the same identity.
As the online inventory grows, this system will let customers browse a vehicle, choose a listed component, and have the original donor information included automatically with the request.
