The shop has added an engine test stand to improve how we document running donor engines. Technicians can now record oil pressure, operating temperature, visible leaks, and a short running-condition note before an engine is prepared for sale.
Those observations will be attached to the engine listing along with the donor stock number and known vehicle mileage.
Better information before purchase
Used mechanical parts always carry some uncertainty, but consistent inspection notes give customers a clearer picture of what was observed at the yard.
Customers can request the available test notes and photos when asking about an engine.
